Walkthrough

Title(-1,-1)
Because of different emulator, I get 1 lag frames.
1-1(1,0)
Choose another way, and save 1 lag frames.(it's not the reason of emulator)
1-2(10,10)
A better boss fight. And keeping the fastest speed when catch the bubble, meet the bird face as fast as possible.
1-3(-1,9)
Bad luck. The first enemy which I caught moved 1 frame later.
4-1 3-1(0,9)
Nothing.
5-1(11,20)
9 frames in better action, and 2 frames in boss fight.
5-2(71,91)
Max speed jump on vine and other manipulate(82 frames) help me touch the frames rule.
Birdo fire eggs or fireball at 64, 128, 192 in 0x000010 frames rule address. She fire the first egg at 64 in this movie.
I press start in boss for keeping Birdo on the rightmost.
5-3(10,101)
Better jump on ladder.
7-1(143,244)
I choose princess Peach. Because Peach has a higher jump speed than Luigi, and only slower in boss fight. I think even use Luigi too, it still can be saved more than 100 frames.
Before take the rocket, Peach is 6 frames slower than Luigi(in my Luigi test, this number is more than 10 frames).
But after the rocket, Peach is only 1 frames slower. I don't know why this 1 frames happened.
Before boss fight, I have saved 165 frames, and only lose 22 frames in boss fight.
7-2(20,264)
I have tried my best and saved 48 frames(50 frames-rule frames and 2 lag frames) before the final boss, though I touch the vegetables' 256-frames-rule, but I fail to touch the final boss Wart's frames rule line, need the last 20 frames. Only when he spit the bubbles I can hit him only once.
need 20 more frames
So I have to cost some frames to against lags. Luckily, I catch the vegetable at last few frames.

Masterjun: Judging.
Masterjun: Great optimizations overall. Accepting to Moons as an improvement to the previous run.
thecoreyburton: Processing.

This was an unexpected improvement! Voted yes. I'm going to go ahead and stake my claim for publication well and truly in advance.
I'm not as active as I once was, but I can be reached here if I should be needed.

My brain is hurting now. Yes vote.
my personal page - my YouTube channel - my GitHub - my Discord: thunderaxe31 <Masterjun> if you look at the "NES" in a weird angle, it actually clearly says "GBA"

It appears that nicovideo is having a bit of an issue with the player, redirecting you to nico itself and not playing it back. Which isn't an issue for those that have a nico account. For those that don't have a nico account I did a mirror to YouTube for temporary reasoning as nico is being interesting at the moment. Here's the link to the temporary YouTube mirror. I'm not embedding it on the forums. (Even no-nicovideo account players had issues on my end, so mirroring it is simpler and quicker.) As for a vote. I'm giving it a straight Yes.

Never considered an improvement for this game. 7-1 also was surprising. Yes vote.
My homepage --Currently not much motived for TASing as before...-- But I'm still working.

Same here. Nice job. YES Vote.
I recently discovered that if you haven't reached a level of frustration with TASing any game, then you haven't done your due diligence. ---- SOYZA: Are you playing a game? NYMX: I'm not playing a game, I'm TASing. SOYZA: Oh...so its not a game...Its for real? ---- Anybody got a Quantum computer I can borrow for 20 minutes? Nevermind...eien's 64 core machine will do. :) ---- BOTing will be the end of all games. --NYMX

I think it's funny how you used literally every single character except for Mario himself. You know, the face of the franchise. Either way, this was a nice improvement!

Good stuff!
[16:36:31] <Mothrayas> I have to say this argument about robot drug usage is a lot more fun than whatever else we have been doing in the past two+ hours
[16:08:10] <BenLubar> a TAS is just the limit of a segmented speedrun as the segment length approaches zero

NO VOTE. I mixed yes and no because I like the run. But the no vote, you need to do a warpless movie. It was required, but I want to see the warpless TAS Super Mario All Stars SMB2 movie!
Planned runs: Marble Madness (Arcade, Genesis J, GG/SMS) Proposed: Ecco the Dolphin (Genesis, GG/SMS, CD: regular, camera freeze) Ecco: The Tides of Time (Genesis, GG/SMS, CD; normal mode) Mario Kart DS (all cups, all missions) In progress: Grand Poo World 3 (all exits hard mode)

Evan a few things. Learn how to vote for ENTERTAINMENT and not general being a dick. Stop ignoring information that's given to you on what not to do as you continue to do it. (Cause copy+pasting previous points is boring.) It's not required when you're obsoleting the previous "warps" TAS. If you're that much on having a pissy fit how about you make your own "warpless" TAS. Oh wait... your track record is poor with no signs of improvement as a TASer or user.

Then vote "meh" or "Yes". The vote is based on the question above the submission "Vote: Did you find this movie ENTERTAINING?" I don't think you have to vote "no" for just a whim and you ignore the work and the hours of effort that the TASer gave to this movie, not to mention that it improved an existing movie. Seeing your signature I suppose you are a "Mario TASer", so if you see that nobody is interested in doing a warpless run of this game, take the project and do it, you are a TASer after all right?, I don't try to offend you but be more careful in your votes and what you comment, maybe there are people who do not like that attitude.

Always incredible to see improvements in the main series of Mario games. Great run, great yes!
Games are basically math with a visual representation of this math, that's why I make the scripts, to re-see games as math. My things: YouTube, GitHub, Pastebin, Twitter

Very nice run, but you didn't use the time to make an improvement for [1337] NES Kid Dracula by adelikat, Randil, arukAdo & DarkKobold in 19:49.12 instead, so I'm afraid I have to vote "no". Dreadful sorry about that.

I'm voting no. You didn't play as mario even though it's his game :p

It was original named: Doki Poki Panic and it was released in Famicom Disk System format. It wasn't Super Mario Characters in the beginning. ^^
I'm not a speed runner, but a game lurker, that's my contribution to the scene. =)

Yeah. had Evan0512 voted yes, we could've still had 100% before kaan55 voted no. Also, yes vote. Can't wait for the trick in 1-2 being used in the GBA version

kaan55 voted Yes, it was kinda obvious that it was a joke. Especially when there's still only a single No Vote.

http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=358526#358526 got4n has made a luigi test long time ago, but it still slower than toad. In my snes version test, Luigi is only very few frames faster than mario. edit:

So anyone up for a "Mario-only" run?

So does this mean, now that Peach is used in 7-1, that Peach is no longer the sub-optimal character and Mario is now?
