Seeing as people are complaining about how many errors I have in my run, I'm probably going to just scrap it. I'm not really in the mood to redo everything.

It was more like telling you about the errors in hopes that you would redo it without them, since part of the whole point of doing these videos is to not have errors. I would like to see a time attack of this game, and I think it would be more entertaining to watch than the Genesis or NES versions of it, but it would need to have a lot more precision than what you have so far. (If Sprintgod is still working on this, I'm sure it'll turn out immeasurably closer to perfect.)

Truthfully, my main purpose for this was to maybe inspire someone else to make a run for this game.

If you were looking for someone else do the run, Noxious Ninja on the ZBoard mentioned he's working on this game, but I haven't heard from him since the initial mention of it.

Im working on it, this version is so diferent from the nes version, is a speed attack and i want to use the bug of the password to go from lv 1 to lv 20, what do u think???

That wouldn't be an interesting run at all. Much like the Zelda: A Link to the Past glitch run, a run which basically warps to the end of the game is not terribly exciting. If you're going to do a run, my vote would be for a full game run.

I am also making the movie of a Japanese version of this game. I have made it to level 9.When level 10 starts, The left time is 108 minutes. Is this fast or slow? And,I found the bug which the enemy dies immediately in five continuous battle of level 19. Is this a known bug?
Because I am not so good at English,I use machine translator and English-Japanese dictionary.

Post subject: Interesting Warping Glitch in SNES Prince of Persia

So I was screwing around in real time and I just happened to trigger a weird glitch... You have to hit 'game end' a few frames before you both transition a screen and die, and so far I can only get it to work in this one spot. I really have no idea what's happening here but if somebody could figure it out it could make for an interesting 'glitched' run. http://www.uranium-anchor.com/speed/popbug.smv (US version) http://www.viddler.com/explore/UraniumAnchor/videos/26/ The first time I did it (unfortunately I was not recording) I also maxed out my health, so there's some degree of 'randomness' to it, but I can't figure out what specifically. Adding more frames didn't seem to do it, so I'm not sure. Seems to be some kind of memory corruption because other places can make the game completely lock up.

Yeah, and when your health is maxed, it won't deplete... so if you die, it crashes the game.

Thanks for posting the WIP Odongdong. Having something to look at is always way better then starting from scratch, so this is a big head start. It will probably be the next thing I work on after Atari 2600 and Battletoads is sorted out, whenever that may be.
