When are we going to get a subforum for Nintendo 3DS games and a subforum for Flash games? 3DS since we now have 3DS movies published on the site and Flash just to not oversaturate the Windows/Linux subforum, it would be kind of like how MS-DOS games have their own subforum.
I think Flash needs a subforum, because of the obscene amount of games it has, and they will only be getting more and more attention now. Not sure about 3DS yet, since those games are arguably harder to TAS, so I expect activity to be increasing slower.

Also now that I remember, since Mupen-rr is acceptable for submissions again maybe we could bring back the subforum for that emulator as well.
If we see that one thread is not enough anymore, we'll add the subforum back (tho moving former mupen64 subforum threads back would be a waste of time IMO).
Umm... sorry for bringing this up again, but... Are there any updates on this? It's been a good while since Flash and 3DS games were accepted on the site.

Watching date-times in "Last post" column of Speedrun competitions, I feel like this subforum is extremely unpopular. Would it make sense to merge TAS competitions in there to make it more lively?

I guess, someone has already reported this, but new "New Submissions" list doesn't look good. The game name, the branch and the author(-s) light up only when you point at it which is a downgrade to convenience. I double-checked my Dark Reader browser plugin, it was off for tasvideos. Mobile version, on the other hand, doesn't have this defect. Black text on a bright-grey background with a dark-green timing looks decent. No objections here. The current list of publications begs for an improvement: add a JS script that shows a thumbnail in a bigger resolution in the panel to the right where it used to be, but it was showing only the latest picture.

Thanks for the reports, we fixed the bug where users had to hard reload to get the new styles (and end up with broken styles otherwise). In the future everything should work without the user having to do stuff.
Warning: Might glitch to credits I will finish this ACE soon as possible (or will I?)

For the issue that I was going to post about originally, the Yoshi's Island 100% TAS is on the Newcomer Corner, and possible one of the first suggested TASes to watch for new people. However, the Youtube video for the encode has been privated and cannot be watched. Link to video Given the age of the encode it is possible that the video was auto-privated by Youtube, if the video was originally unlisted. This video on the TASVideosChannel appears to also be an encode of this TAS, and could be switched into the submission link. Link to video

'Movies by Genre' -> 'Unofficial game' is empty. (I guess it's 'Homebrew' now but there is no link for that.)

Fixed now. There was an issue with a recent submission that caused any page trying to display it to break. The broken submission was deleted and the issue that caused it to break was fixed, so it shouldn't happen again.

The bug is that you should not have been allowed, I'll fix it so that it does not upload. You need to remove the greenzone before attempting an upload
It's hard to look this good. My TAS projects

How do I do that for all branches? I right clicked "Clear Greenzone" in Tastudios.

Open tasproj with an archiver and remove the greenzone file itself. Allowing it if it's 0 size sounds like a useful options tho, because it would allow users to make it uploadable from just tastudio itself.

On movie rating pages there is "The rating system" tab, which says: "The first dropdown menu is used to select the integral part of the rating, and the second one the decimal part. If a value larger than 10.0 is selected, it will be truncated to 10.0. Rating is optional. If the hyphen symbol is chosen as the integral part, the rating will be removed (and in this case the decimal part will naturally be ignored)". Isn't it deprecated now ?

Why does forum look differently on different browsers? For example, in Chrome, submission status does not update

Had a few thoughts about publications and not sure where best to put them. Utilising the chapters feature on YouTube would be quite convenient for viewers, especially for movies with a long intro or loading. Also I think many viewers have no idea how much information there is in the submission comments about the movie. Some publications mention it in the description, but otherwise it's difficult to find for someone unfamiliar.

I would like to request that my Gameboy Advance emulator, GBAHawk, be supported on the site for movie uploads / submissions. It can be downloaded here: https://github.com/alyosha-tas/GBAHawk/releases It is a derivative of BizHawk, so shares a very similar (though heavily modified / stripped down) user interface. TAS tools are all the same, features like RAM watch and LUA are still supported. Movie extension is .gbmv, but is just .bk2 renamed to avoid confusion. Audio / video recording is the same. Two improvements to existing TASes already exist, and are console verified: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avBgeBKQ8_c, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKP7X7TY1_k. Additional capabilities include subframe resets and limited support for linked play. Missing features are RTC, light sensor, and other peripherals. These will be added in future releases.

I'm requesting acceptance of this fork of Ruffle which fixes Astro Barrier. The pull request that implemented the fix is now over 2 years old; it was not merged due to potential side effects. Last month I asked the Ruffle developers if there was any possibility of some sort of official fork or development build, and they said they couldn't help. This unofficial fork is hosted by TASVideos and easily available.
