A simple & short TAS. The goal is to complete Training Area from the title screen.
Difficulty is untouched, because it won't affect the Training Area.
Zero is chosen, because Zero can kill the boss much faster than X.
Boss is Magma Dragoon, but a much weaker version than Mega Man X4, with limited moves.
Turnaround SDC (Slash Dash Cancel) is used in the boss fight, as it's faster than the regular SDC. Taking damage beforehand is necessary.

feos: This mode is short and easy, but it doesn't really beat itself if you just hold a few buttons, so it's not trivial. We accept individual modes with unique content as separate Standard branches, so accepting.

HappyLee, I didn't know you were also interested in doing Mega Man X(5)! (Although I haven't done any Mega Man related TASes in ages.) Are you planning to do anything else with Mega Man X5, or anything else Mega Man related?

I'm mostly interested in Mega Man X4. Most of the Mega Man X4 and X5 TAS here seem pretty optimized to me, especially Bernka's runs. I've been thinking of making a Mega Man X4 low% TAS. I've thought of some strategies, but the main problem is that a Mega Man X4 TAS would be long and a very big project, which I probably can't finish by myself. So I might try some short runs for a start and see how they go.
Recent projects: SMB warpless TAS (2018), SMB warpless walkathon (2019), SMB something never done before (2019), Extra Mario Bros. (best ending) (2020).
