First of all, this is my first time submitting a movie. Until then, my friend had always been my substitute for me. My English is very poor, and if there are any sentences that are not smooth to read, please forgive me. It has been more than half a year since I first submitted and produced the movie. Besides work, In my spare time, I am also working hard to learn some techniques. Furthermore, I am very grateful to Mr. Shinryuu for his guidance and skills. This has allowed me to observe these subtle operations more carefully. To further challenge myself, I am reminded of this HACK produced by Mr. woabclf. This TAS has been around for 13 years now. I want to further improve this game, This is a very difficult challenge for me, but I still have to try to challenge it. Another reason is that I think this hack is really good. I chose the Japanese version with normal difficulty. Compared to the difficult mode, this is more user-friendly as it can use more game faults to complete the game faster. A total of 15 delayed scrolling attempts were used throughout the entire process. There may be some imperfections, but I tried my best.In addition, I used the menu malfunction discovered by Mr. WarmCabin here. It's really amazing
Sorry, I need to change the movie file. After several days of repeated viewing, I have discovered areas for improvement and have also refined more details. The completion time was 26 minutes, 02 seconds, and 53 seconds, so I want to replace the previous submission. I have uploaded this to the user file https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638204304942733040

nymx: Claiming for judging.

nymx: Replacing movie file with ~15 second improvement.

nymx: Went around the judges a few times, not because this movie wasn't good or well optimized...but to find out how we can run this TAS side-by-side with the "Hard" mode.
First...let's get the obvious out of the wait...I'm accepting this to "Standard" for publication.
Now...how to handle the branches. I'm going with the idea of two branches, only because there is content that each mode has that makes the game play very different. Publisher, please re-arrange the branches to have this TAS obsolete the existing "Normal" mode, while placing the "Hard" mode by itself.
Thank you Darkman425 for your insights on the game mechanics.

despoa: Processing...

For the record, the old publication of Normal difficulty had a low 27-minute time, so this is a big improvement! Then again, the Normal run was obsoleted by a run on Hard mode. Maybe the current site standards would be more willing to have publications of both difficulties?
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. The normal mode and the hard mode in the Japanese version are two games, while the normal mode and the hard mode in the American version are the same game, and I think there should be two branches

Comparison encode (now in 1080p): Link to video One thing to note is that things are different these days compared to 13 years ago, so I am all right nowadays to having multiple branches. The other thing is that "normal" and "hard" are actually two different hacks. One hack is named "RockmanNo_constancy_normal.ips" and the other "RockmanNo_constancy_hard.ips". They are both given in the same package and very similar, but they are two different hacks. The other other thing to note is that this is a TAS of the v1.0 version of this hack. According to the Romhacking.net page, there are two (very very late) additional updates: v1.2 in 2018 and v1.3 in 2019.

I finally got to watch this (the replacement file version). I think it looks quite good! I don't know the game well enough to point out specific places that seem questionable. Good work.
