Stage by stage comments

1

screen wont go up until it's all the way to the end.

2

double jump by attacking in air
Stay Close to boss to do most damage

3

Able to despawn a blue spider at start to save on a heart of damage

4

Same deal as in 2

5

Arrows.
Stage is slower than Swordless Link's old any%, due to the one green skull. However Samsara determined that green skull is slower on FCEUX and faster in BizHawk, so the time loss is due to different emulation.
Samsara: Specifically, it moves at the same speed as the player on FCEUX and slightly faster than the player on BizHawk. It's barely possible to jump over it in the same way as in Swordless's original any% publication, but the extra little speed boost means it will always catch up, and it's just barely too close to turn around and shoot it.

They didn't put enemies in this stage
delay spawning the final boss so we can get as many hits on them before it moves back to the right.

Other comments

I am very tired.
Samsara: Does that intro redraw qualify me as a furry artist because I drew the Cheetahmen a couple times?

nymx: Claiming for judging.
nymx: wow...what a flood of Action 52 lately. This one; however, is at least is their best. In terms of optimization, this seems pretty solid. I did find one place where I got ahead and then it was eaten at the end...probably because of some timer/frame rule. Well, great job to the both of you.
Accepting to "Standard" for publication.
Publisher: Since this is the "Warp-less" category, it probably makes sense to change [4484] NES Action 52: The Cheetahmen "warps" by EZGames69 & Samsara in 03:11.30 to reflect "Warps" to distinguish the two.

despoa: Processing...
