This achieves max score in survival mode 9999, I redid the start to do a lot of unscaled damage combos and at the end i made up for the points by doing longer combos and doing shun goku satsu right after for extra 30 hits. This should please your highness judges. We only get the high score at the very end.
Due to feedback from viewers i shortened my high score TAS in survival mode, different combos are used for different char hitboxes and stun meters!
Chain combos from EX groove delay stun so they're used to avoid stunning earlier, yuo cannot stun twice in the same combo, so i save it for later so i can use 33hits super more often. For speed, the best super is Misogi, the heavens palm strike. Weaker chars get stunned earlier and the health points are also varied between chars which contributes to the different combo choice in each match.
EX groove was with C meter for ease of meter building and flexibility with level 1 2 and 3 supers, so i can do more super finishers and build points faster surprinsingly, because of the different bodies characters have, more combos were used so we could control stun gauge and damage for longer, so it wasn't taht repetitive. Thanks for your attention!

Why did you choose to use P2 instead of P1? If memory serves, the character select cursor starts at the top left for P1, making scrolling over to Shin Akuma a little bit faster. Are there advantages to fighting as P2 over P1?

This "your highness" judge as you have referred to us (me?) has decided to also claim this one. And just like your un-optimized two previous submissions if this one is also shown to be un-optimized it will also get rejected (first was canceled before rejection though). You have been around long enough that you should know that reasonable optimization is important. So now at this point with this submission the time has gone down from about 36.5 minutes from the original cancelled submission to about 27.5 minutes, to about 24.5 minutes with this. That means from the original submission the time has been cut down by about 33% from the original submission which is quite a lot without any major bugs or shortcuts found. A good rule of thumb is that if a submission looks like several minutes could be saved in a sub-hour submission it is going to be un-optimized and rejected. Let's see how this one turns out.

no advantage at all, just a left over from old tests
I want all good TAS inside TASvideos, it's my motto. TAS i'm interested: Megaman series, specially the RPGs! Where is the mmbn1 all chips TAS we deserve? Where is the Command Mission TAS? i'm slowly moving away from TASing fighting games for speed, maybe it's time to start finding some entertainment value in TASing.

there are no timelosses from entertainment anymore, do as you wish, you guys asked for fastest completion for what already is a record, so i stopped combos to get more damage and kill faster when possible, and when i realized i was gonna miss the mark i farmed the rest of it

Tasvideos is not a leaderboard, and the tas must be reasonably optimized for the goal. Entertainment tradeoffs that make a tas longer should be in moderation for a fastest completion goal. If it is a playaround go nuts as long as it is entertaining to the audience. Also, you mentioned about missing the mark which I assume is 9999 points. Was getting under the needed points per round (about 206) up to that point intentional?

Having watched the video in its entirety, I have voted "No". The primary reason behind my vote is that it is almost certainly faster to use P1 to select Shin Akuma than it is to use P2. The secondary reason behind my vote is that as much as I love Akuma in all of his forms, choosing the watered down version of one of the game's final bosses as your TAS character seems like overkill. A well-optimized version of this run with a worse character (like Dan) would make for a more entertaining video, showcasing human-impossible combos and chains, and using a variety of moves to raise your score and damage the enemy, instead of "jumping punch into double fireball spam into dizzy into Misogi" several times. I recognize that the game has a super meter and it is there to be used, but I found this video incredibly repetitive by the end of the first row of enemies, especially since, except for a couple of characters, they stand still, get hit, and then get perfected without the chance to demonstrate anything. The tertiary reason behind my vote is that I do no think "highest score" is a good goal for this game mode. A run that tries to clear Survival Mode as quickly as possible, relying on high damaging combos and effective use of super meter to clear the mode as quickly as possible (while dealing with the agonizingly slow loading times between rounds) seems like a better goal than what has been presented here. You appear to have a firm understanding of how the game works, and I think you could put together an impressive movie. To me, this just isn't it. I would personally recommend using one of the arcade versions of the game instead of the load-heavy console ports, but I respect you choosing the console that makes the most sense for you. I would also recommend (re-)watching some of the other fighting game TASes on the website, particularly the playaround videos which incorporate 1P/2P story mode and 1P vs 2P matches to truly showcase how superhuman ability can highlight the best and funniest parts of the game.

yes, by the start there's not many combos because less hits means more damage for each individual hit, but after the middle the points are kinda lacking so the fights are more combo or points oriented, by Sagat we have 4 fights and still missing 500 so Sagat is the last combo oriented character and by Kyo I can go fast again, so the last 3 fights i can go fast.

I just had a further thought, which would greatly improve the character select speed: waiting for the RNG seed to give you Shin Akuma as your RNG character.
