Hello everyone, I'm still relatively new to BizHawk and TASing, and I'm currently working on a TAS for Donkey Kong Country (SNES). I've run into an issue with the aspect ratio that I hope someone here can help me with. Even though I’ve read that enabling "Always Double-Size Framebuffer" under the core settings should maintain a stable aspect ratio, it still seems to change for me during playback. For reference, I’ve looked at the following sources: https://github.com/TASEmulators/BizHawk/issues/1467] https://tasvideos.org/Forum/Topics/18327] Is there something I might be missing or a setting I’ve possibly overlooked? Thanks in advance for any help! Best regards

despoa had the same problem a couple weeks ago, and they ended up using the resize option when A/V dumping. And to keep the window size fixed while you're TASing, View > Window Size > Static Size. I think it's separate to the doubling/halving problem you linked.
I contribute to BizHawk as Linux/cross-platform lead, testing and automation lead, and UI designer. This year, I'm experimenting with streaming BizHawk development on Twitch. nope Links to find me elsewhere and to some of my side projects are on my personal site. I will respond on Discord faster than to PMs on this site.
Hey look buddy, I'm an engineer. That means I solve problems. Not problems like "What is software," because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve practical problems. For instance, how am I gonna stop some high-wattage thread-ripping monster of a CPU dead in its tracks? The answer: use code. And if that don't work? Use more code.
