Yo. This is a side tangent for my efforts to do an all sidequests TAS.
This improves the previous run by a little over 30 frames due to a faster 'combine' when getting Marle and other small optimizations. Any questions about mid-frame resets can be answer reading the prior submission notes.
Until next time!

nymx: Claiming for judging.
nymx: These improvements look fine. I compared them to the previous TAS and like arandomgameTASer said, the improvements tallied up over the entire run for the game-play itself. Because of this, the parts that can be improved are core enough to override any previous authorship. All I can say is...great job on this tighter optimization.

Could the time difference between this and the pub be due to differences between the emulators?

Nah, I made sure to time that in case it was a problem, but I didn't see any difference in lag beyond Chrono Trigger's usual give or take a frame per load (game runs at slightly above 60 frames per second so a lot of weirdness comes from that I assume).
effort on the first draft means less effort on any draft thereafter - some loser
