Introduction

Test Drive is a series of driving games that introduce the concept of car touring, as opposed to racing. Test Drive III: The Passion (1990) is also arguably the first open world driving game, where no boundaries are defined. Instead the (at the time) vast map circles around itself.
In this movie I finish the Pacific Coast - Yosemite course using the Corvette (fastest car) as fast as possible.

nymx: I should have accepted this one at the same time as #9931: eien86's DOS Test Drive III: Road and Car in 05:36.028, since it was pretty much the same game.
Accepting to Standard.

I really like how this game looks, I especially love all those details in this cockpit view. This must have been the coolest driving game to people in 1990. The TAS does a great job showing the game off, the driving looks super fast, that's an easy "yes" vote from me!
Current project: Gex 3 any% Paused: Gex 64 any% There are no N64 emulators. Just SM64 emulators with hacky support for all the other games.

just wanna say how cool it is Eien86 is tackling all those classics for DOS, really inspiring!
I want all good TAS inside TASvideos, it's my motto. TAS i'm interested: Megaman series, specially the RPGs! Where is the mmbn1 all chips TAS we deserve? Where is the Command Mission TAS? i'm slowly moving away from TASing fighting games for speed, maybe it's time to start finding some entertainment value in TASing.
