Verbatim (Compute's Gazette)
There's nothing new about word guessing games; they've been around for quite a while. This one, however, contains several twists that make it both a good learning tool for children and fun for players of all ages. The object of " Verbatim" is simple: You must deduce, in five tries or less, a word entered by a second player or selected by the 64. Words vary in length from three to six letters.
Why TAS This Game?
The continuation of TASing games from my all-time favorite magazine, Compute's Gazette. This makes my 101st TAS from this series.
I never typed this game in my youth. It just didn't appeal to me. I wasn't into games that had a local "database" of words to play with. Why? When you are typing it in, you can see everything that is playable. So...I didn't care anything for it. To this day, my stance still is the same...so I'm just trying to get through these boring games, to complete the collection.
Game Difficulty and Ending
I chose the hardest difficulty of 6 letters, and allow the CPU to chose the word.
Effort In TASing (Not BOTed)
Two simple points to TASing this:
- Play the game to find out what the word is, and then reproduce the results.
- Buffer the inputs.
