Hm... They redirect it into the Woodfall temple, killing the boss there and freeing the fourth giant, who then shows up and gets all angry for waking him up for nothing.[/sarcasm] In all reality, I have played the game, but since when I did it was for completing it properly and hadn't even considered sequence breaking (or anything else related to TAS for that matter), so I apologize for seeming like a complete and total idiot.

Hey, it's not totally crazy to try to look for something like that. Remember how Ocarina of Time's rainbow bridge only checked for two of the medallions?

OoT actually checks for all of the medals. 3 stones for the door of time, 3 (or 4) medals for the Kakariko cutscene and 2 medals for the bridge. MM isn't really divided into different stages of the game like that, so of course it has to check for all 4 at some point.

Yeah, I figured it would check for all 4 giants at that time since that's kinda the whole point. But you never know if some obscure glitch could set one of their flags by some other means.

I still find this Fake Owl glitch, that warps you into the mayors office to be very interesting. If there - against all odds - is some way to skip most of the game, I guess it would have to do with something like manipulating memory adresses so you end up on the moon. But I really guess its stupid and highly unlikely :D

it actually is not ;) the problem is, that there's no known way to manipulate memory addresses apart from the MM bottle adventure, but the MM bottle adventure affects other stuff

Well it's the only way to reach those memory adresses. That you can reach them in OoT through RBA is a hughe coincidence. ;)

No. No cheatcodes. Cheatcodes bad. Against spirit of TASing. Against TAS rules. **continues talking like that**

Actually, cheat codes can be instrumental in performing testing and planning. For example, moon jump codes can help verify whether it is worth trying to clear a gap with in-game physics. Modifying memory addresses for speed can determine the amount of speed necessary to perform something to determine whether it is feasible. Obviously, because of the way that TASvideos verifies videos, a cheat code cannot be slipped in to the final video.

Most likely it seems MrGrunz was operating on his mobile when he posted that link. I too would like to see it if that's possible.
