Submission Text Full Submission Page
Super Battleship played 231% faster than the current submission. The object is to sink the enemy's entire fleet before your own fleet is sunk.
  • Played at highest difficulty level
  • No warps
  • Takes damage to save time (didn't bother hiding the ships from the computer's search pattern)
  • Proves a point

10 rerecords? XD

I think he said it would have only been 1 rerecord if he'd realized that the game shows the enemy's ship locations when you die.

I actually watched the run, and it seems as though you missed out on the "actual" gameplay (where the menu says "Super Battleship" above "Classic Battleship"). You guys just play an extremely small part of the game. If you have to post stuff like this, please post it in the discussion forum and not in the submission queue. 39 seconds and 10 re-records doesn't cut it.

Well, he posted it mainly to show how bad the other run was. But a link to the movie file and a no vote would probably have been sufficient (not that the other submission should have been submitted either).

Just got back from Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit. I apologize for posting the run, but I hope it at least gave someone a giggle. Maybe I should have started over when I realized that I only needed 1 re-record.

Okay, the other submission has been removed. Since "classic Battleship" isn't the point of Super Battleship (more like a bonus game), I rescind the submission.
