I'm also pretty sure this topic was made before but I can't find it. Anyway all the ROMs I found of it were technical demos. Nothing actually playable in any meaningful sense. I think it's one of those things where someone on Futaba had the idea and made a screenshot, and other people ran with it, and then some group decided to actually do it but hasn't yet. Edit: Found it.

Yep, there are only technical demos in there as of yet. It's still a very nice experiment. I don't believe it will be done anytime soon, though.
