Yesterday i tried doing this. I did some stars very well, but there were some stars that took me like 20 minutes to get O_O i tried and tried to do an especific trick so many times that it would have been possible to get the star the normal way several times. Also, i got a gameover at rainbow ride with 115 stars at 5 hours and 30 minutes. I guess the only problem in the run was that i tried many times to do things that were too hard, if i try this again i'll certainly be carefull and do things the way they should be done, instead of trying crazy tricks. oh yea, i played on mupen64 using my playstation gamepad.

I did it once, and ended up with a time of 4 hours and 17 minutes (I think). It was on the PAL version, which is slower than the NTSC one. Edit: oh, and I played it on a Nintendo 64.

well it took 5 hours to make. i got home from work, checked e-mail, and thought why not do it? i started playing, pause the emulator once for dinner (so it wasn't really unassisted after-all heh) then came back and stopped playing like 3 am with the gameover. That's nice blublu! really good actually.

Well, it might have been 5 hours, I'm not sure. Also, it might have been 27 minutes and not 17. But I *think* it was 4:17 or just thereabout. I wanted to make a video to submit to SDA, but I gave up in the "practise for an eternity" part.

the quickest speedrun i've seen is the 3 hour one. I know it could be done in about 215 minutes though. I'd like to give it a shot sometime. I'm playing through the DS version now, it's wierd getting used to it.

Does any one have a link to a super mario speedrun that i can watch on quicktime or mediaplayer? If you do, i'd like to see a longer run because ive seen the 16 min runs. Thanks.
