For this run I used Snes9X v1.43+ v9 for Windows with WIP1 timing.
In this run I control both characters and try to finish the game as fast as possible; it’s about 25 seconds faster than the previous version, and ends when no more input is required.
Each Level I gain a few frames on the previous run, but the major gains occur in levels 2, 5, and 6.
The largest gain is made on level 2 where I gain 759 frames total. This was mainly due to better accuracy and not using the laser as it is weaker than the crush missiles.
The most interesting improvement is made on the last level when I kill the bird boss before it can start to teleport around. Once the bird dies the game’s music gets screwed up; I think it’s playing two songs at the same time. This fixes itself later on though.
This run was very difficult to make because controlling two characters on one keyboard is very tricky, especially on the level 4 boss and on level 5. I tried my best to keep the movie interesting and I hope you enjoy watching it.

adelikat: Good improvement over a published run. Accepting for publication.

Damn you! I was planning to do this run myself. :D Still, very professionally done (especially in the waiting sequences). Easy yes vote.

Awesome! I wouldn't have thought an improvement this big was possible. The run was very entertaining.

Hmm, how 'bout "yes". A great screenshot would be on the third level when both players are doing their "I'M SO STRONG WITH TWO GUNS" pose.

Voting Meh. While your pacifist version was almost perfect, this 2-players run looks improvable (at least in terms of entertainment - there's so much things to show in 2-player TAS!)

The previous run by Phil and Genisto was one of the coolest runs on the site. This is a huge time improvement with no loss in entertainment. I'll toss in another yes vote.

Yes, it is quite a large improvement to the already published run. I want to ask about how you set up your 2P keys, was it done on keyboard or on a console controller via USB? If the latter, please post your setup for players.

I did the run on just my computer keyboard. In order to enable so many buttons to be pressed at once, I had to come up with a really wacky redefinition of the controllers as well as the frame advance key. The new setup worked most of the time, but when I had problems I just redefined all inputs needed for the offending frame to one key.

Using auto-hold when that happens is probably easier/faster than redefining a bunch of keys twice...

Easy yes vote. BIG improvements!!! Congrats. The end boss is soo much fun(the brain) because me and my friend would always get the worse choice which was the "eye" I believe, I think thats the one where the balls just kept bouncing around the screen and we could not help but get killed every damn time.

It's 25 seconds faster and was quite entertaining but maybe a little too much of just standing inside each other but I really enjoyed it. Arne votes: Yes.

Big improvement over the published run. I found no loss of entertainment as Ans suggested. Sure, Phil & Genisto's characters looked more independent form each other but that was because it was 2 people controlling 2 characters. For 1-p controlling 2-characters, this run is grade A. Good Job.
It's hard to look this good. My TAS projects

Yes vote here, like it really matters. ^^; The reason though that the music overlaps at the end is that Konami programmed the Song.End in a spot that wouldn't appear until after the boss morphed, and didn't count on it being obliterated before that! Nice job on finding lazy programming.

Nice run, you show a couple of new tricks and strategies while destroying the game as quickly as possible. I'm now thinking of improving my run on SDA. Yes vote

Great improvement :D I havent play this game, so I can't have comments for technical elements. Nevertheless, Im very impressed, have much entertainment. Character's movements are cool, but non-sense. very funny. ^^ vote yes!
