Personal attacks aren't warranted. I would like to continue this serious discussion.

Seriously, you are either retarded or you're the worst troll I've ever seen. Shut up and leave this thread.

I suggested we stop derailing the thread. You ignored it and continue to reply. I tried once, and I'm not going to have you get the last word in unless it's an admittal of defeat. Unless we agree to stop, nothing short of mod intervention will cease this discussion. Edit: Or continue it, by moving it. :o
A third option, perhaps (move it to a locked thread). Although this now has a different title, it shouldn't be in the N64 forum, much less in the Mission: Impossible thread. I could argue this discussion shouldn't be in any forum at all, but why bother when Zurreco's around? EDIT: A more appropriate name now, indeed.

God is more of a concept than a tangible object.

I just posted because I'm really bothered by the fact that you're derailing this thread. I wouldn't care if you were discussing in other places.

He brought up the "belief structure" thing. I'd be more than happy to move the discussion to somewhere else.

You forget, that God is not a human being, or a thing, we don't know what God is. So when I say something can't come from nothing I'm talking about everything else except God.

Yes, we learned in school that God is everything, yet nothing. True story.

This is circular logic used to justify why your answer can be the only correct one. "Something can't come from nothing." "I'm talking about everything else except God." If you say "God was always there", why can't I say "The universe and everything we were made from was always there."? The statements are logically equivalent. Everything that exists can be explained without requiring the existence of God. Of course, everything that exists can be explained by the existence of God, but the "God created the universe" hypothesis is more complex than "the universe was not created", because it introduces a "middle man", as it were. Occam's razor tells us that the least complex possibility is more often true, due to the path of least resistance. Now, Occam's razor can be called into question, but my point remains that people who do not accept God's existence as undeniable truth are not doing so because they lack the faculties of logic and reason. Furthermore, the matter of God has no meaning unless you take it on faith. The fact that you feel it necessary to prove the existence of God would generally indicate that you are lacking in faith.

But I think HiddenGamer had a good point back there about requiring fancy new codecs that people can't handle.
