Not any kind of speedrunning per se, but vaguely related.
When I was playing Hitman: Absolution, at some point in the later parts of the game I noticed that many levels could be completed laughably easily.
The game is very open-ended and there is no one single path nor one single strategy that has to be used to complete levels. Levels are quite free to be traversed, and there are many paths you can take, and many tactics you can use, ranging all the way from complete stealth to killing everybody.
One tool available for this is the "instinct meter". When you are disguised, if enemies start becoming suspicious, you can use your instinct meter to blend in. This of course depletes the meter so you only have a limited amount of it.
When I reached this particular level for the first time, I just tried for the sake of it if I could just walk to the end disguised. The level itself is quite large and complicated, and there are quite many options (for instance, there's a sniper rifle at the beginning of the level, giving you one possible option). Playing it "normally" would surely take quite some time. However, I tried just "bluffing" myself to the end of the level, and I succeeded, even on my first playthrough.
This video isn't from that playthrough. I recorded a completion of the level using that tactic later, for demonstration purposes. Could be useful for speedrunning.

This a thing? I have a Twitch where I sometimes speedrun games or something. Recent effort: Youyou Kengeki Musou (an Ys-like Touhou fan game) Hard any% in 17′15″ (WR is 16′14″, I’m #2): http://www.twitch.tv/alaktorn91/c/5492393
My PC is terrible so the lag alone makes me lose time, sadly.

I've played some Doom:

I mainly record undone "tyson" category runs. Tyson means killing all monsters in a map using only weapon slots 1-2. Basically fist and pistol. I like the category, because it requires planning on where to use the limited pistol shots and then figuring out how to safely punch the remaining monsters. I recently tysoned Alien Vendetta's map 13, which has 592 monsters. The final time is 2:40:01, which is the longest tyson record ever.

That is me doing a 96 exits run on Super Mario World, USA version.
Funny enough, it started out as Casual but ended as speedrunning.
I PB'd by like 1h 20m with this run lol. My time here is 2h 30m, and my mother needed my help so after the Yellow Switch Palace I was inactive for like 20/30m.
I also submitted my time to speedrun.com lol.
Edit:
By the way, I couldn't record the run sadly...
Edit 2:
I'd also like to say that one day I will go to Chocolate Island and eat the whole Island, after that swim down to Sunken Ghost Ship, get to Bowser's Valley, and torture every single enemy in that valley and repeatedly shoot Bowser in his head with a bazooka.
I ***ing HATE Chocolate Island & Valley of Bowser. I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE THOSE TWO WORLDS...

Me playing CoD: Modern Warfare 3 (Online), while streaming the game for the first time.
No commentary because I don't know how to set that stuff up with my Capture Card.

This FFA is a alternate game mode that gives you a USP 45 and a Throwing Knife.
There is actually a WR for the fastest flawless win which I believe is 29 seconds, here, I do it in about 1min and 11secs .

DwainiumB: For the record, the other video you posted back in October is still private.
Anyway, I've been doing a few RTAs of DuckTales on Easy lately (thanks to a French speedrunning event called "Ultime Décathlon"). Here's my current PB:

Probably could've been sub-8 if I didn't screw up at The Moon and Magica De Spell. Ah well.
(blocked in Germany, by the way. Nothing I can do about it.)
Hey! I really enjoy speedrunning some PS1/PS2 games (mainly Crash Bandicoot ones). It has been a so fun hobbie and I'll definately keep going. You can check my speedrun times in my SRcom profile . For ILs/Time trials, I use ctr4ever and cyberscore. I also upload most of my runs in my youtube channel and stream live at twitch channel. I hold the WR time for Crash Twinsanity any% nowadays and my main plan is take the Crash Bandicoot 1 100% WR that I utterly hope I'll suceed :D
I made a speedrun of Super Mario Bros. 3 (any% no wrong warp) in 14 minutes and 0.06 seconds (lol):
