Panel de Pon, played on Hard difficulty. I do relatively decent until the final boss appears, and then it goes to hell from there. I'd say nearly half the movie comes from trying to beat her.

This is me playing Low-G-Man, a game that a lot of people dislike, probably because of the poor animation (enemies confrom to an 8x8 grid so all the animation is super choppy). This game is really fun but also really really hard.. I don't remember ever being able to beat the last boss, even on loop 1! This video doesn't even get that far, only to stage 3-4 (the last world is world 5) where I meet another difficult boss and die a lot. While I was making this I found a WIP of some TAS of this game with no author information. I dunno who made it but it overtakes my casual play video in less than 8 minutes and continues to stage 5-2. There are a lot of places to improve it, but it's the only thing I've ever seen of anyone aside form me liking or playing the game at all.
someone is out there who will like you. take off your mask so they can find you faster. I support the new Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun.

I got bored so I thought I may as well join in the fun :) Here is my 16 star Super Mario 64 real time run. I thought it all went ok, shitness comes from -- 1) Almost deathless bar one stupid one in Shifting Sand Land 2) BLJ up the endless staircase took aaaage somehow. 3) My Bowser throwing skills are shit. Plain and simple. Enjoy :) http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3713/SUPER%20MARIO%2064%20%28USA%29.m64

At the world one mini-fortress, when you first tried flying for the whistle -- that was hilarious! Although I still think I suck more. ; )

Super Mario Bros 3 Raiscan Run. I started really well. I guess I'm too greedy with that mushroom in the dark area. My second playthrough of Bowser World was quite fast at the start but I decided to give it a rest for tonight.

I would show you how bad I suck at Contra 3, but microstorage doesn't accept ZMVs and I had quite a few very embarrassing deaths.

Here's me playing Donkey Kong. The copyright date on this game is two years before I was born. I think they stole the hammer idea from Super Smash Brothers. : ) http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3722/DonkeyKongDeepLoner.fcm There's a funny scene on my third play; I swear no luck manipulation was involved. Also, this is me playing Mega Man for the first time ever. (Note: Mega Man, not Rockman.) I play all six of the initial stages. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3723/MegaMan1DeepLoner_OMGWTF.fcm There are some really, really funny, or stupid, moments, depending on your point of view. Yeah, I liked that too, even though it shouldn't have happened. Sonic 1 run. I swear I don't usually suck that bad. Honest.

Wow. I haven't seen the boss yet, but this is pretty cool so far. Have you considered doing a TAS?

PDP TASed would just be "input B-A-L-L at start, do small (7x, usually less) combos to fill up enemy playfield, win in five seconds" for every round (Acmlm was doing a TAS like this of the US version.) :/

I only did the first stage and I went straight for the commanders for one reason : this particular patch feels like it was translated using an online translater =/ I couldn't stand it so I just finished the first stage at least Still a cool game when your playing with a proper translation

Yeah, it occurred to me after I posted the suggestion. I think I might take a stab at the final round- nearly lose at first while setting up a massive combo, and then brutally savage the opponent. - Here's an (admittedly shabby) attempt at Tetris. My lust for Tetrises was my undoing.

Here is my second recorded attempt at mario 2, after a fair bit of practice. Still unable to beat world 6 though.

You had a slow start, but you got to your senses rather quickly. And you gradually started losing those senses again after 70 or so lines :)

When I'm loading an emulator game to take a break, I will usually use the tools, because redoing stuff sucks. But usually when I'm just taking a break, I'll play some FPS, emulator games are reserved for longer gaming sessions. Ill in bed with lots of time, I decided to answer this thread with a Super Metroid movie. Let me say this first: I played SM exactly twice before. I know strategies and item locations mostly from watching speedruns. I did play a ton of Super Metroid hacks though, abusing quicksave each time. As I never played without quicksave and remembered the hacks as being quite hard, I didn't expect to finish the game. Every item was grabbed as early as possible to increase my chances of survival. While playing, I decided I might as well go for 100%. The result is 99%, because I didn't dare to grab the Crocomire Energy Tank right after killing him, and forgot about it later. stupid. oh, one more thing: this run features the second time in my life I successfully did a mockball without slowdown. I was surprised myself. enough babbling, here's Super Metroid 99% in 1:59. Now I wonder if anyone will watch 2h40 of mediocre playing..

Here is me playing Actraiser 2. This is one cheap ass game so I play on the PAL version which actually has a somewhat fair normal difficulty. I actually do better than usual and I finish the game in around 01:26:25. Almost all of the deaths I have are because this game is so cheap.. (If only they kept the Sims, then the game might be pretty good.)

I've never even heard of a (J) rom for Sonic 1. The only two ROMs I could find were tagged "(W) (REV 00)" and "(W) (REV 01)". Will your movie work on either of those two?

Unless I'm mistaken those were the only two final ROMs that were released. (W = World)

Rev 01, though it works on systems in all regions, was only released in Japan and is hence also known as the (J) ROM.

http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3747/SuprMar3.fcm Getting in on this while it's still popular ^_^ I attempted SMB2 yesterday but didn't get a chance to post it, not to mention it only went up to 4-2. This one warps. And somehow I manage to get through the tank level in world 8. The ship I died, though. Intentionally. I hate auto-scrollers. Otherwise, enjoy how ridiculously horrible I am without savestates. -Tragedy / inertiaticsp

Honestly, the most ideal Panel game for TASing sounds like Crazy Hard mode of Pokémon Puzzle League's VS/Challenge mode. From what my friend tells me, it's more evil as the Intense difficulty from Pokémon Puzzle League (constant ×8 and ×9 chains), only without the benefit of the computer having a health bar.
