Sangokushi 2 - Hanou No Tairiku——one famous SLG GAME. We call it “霸王的大陆”.
Aims for fastest time. The real time is 24:25.
Manipulates luck
Re-record count is a little more, main in debug it. As it is a SLG GAME which has big randomness, so we can’t select first-best, we can only select second-best. I select 董卓,because his army is strong and he is staying in area south of Yellow River, so I can select two armies to attack east-line and west-line.

Bisqwit: Fixed the game name.

NesVideoAgent: Hi! I am a robot. I took a few screenshots of this movie and placed them here. Oh! I also replaced the ROM name.
  • You indicated Sangokushi 2 - Haou No Tairiku (J).nes
  • I updated it to Sangokushi 2 - Haou no Tairiku (J).nes

adelikat: This is primarily a text-based game and your audience is English speaking. You should use the (U) version.
Quote from the Rules: Use the (U) version of a ROM unless there is a good reason not to (as an example a shortcut/trick which only works in a different version, or superior music), or the version does not exist.
Also, the viewer response was poor. I am rejecting this submission.

[Post deleted by Administration. The contents of the post were not the right direction to go on the forums.] Edit by Alden: Sorry it was in the wrong direction :( RE the movie, it was boring to me even in fast forward. Though I'd always wanted to see a game like this played... i just didn't know what was going on. For the record the screenshot i posted was the most amusing moment imho :)

I didn't watched it but why the NES version? It should, at least, be done on Snes. Btw, for those who wonders, it's Romance of three kingdoms 2 on NES.

First I fast-forwarded until battles, then until the duels between the leaders, and then until the end. Sorry, but I found it to be too boring.

I also agree it should be done on the SNES version. Or at least the U version .

Hello. One individual or another may remember my name (likely with disgust). I came across this thread through Google and I feel the need to explain a bit. Despite being a pair of strategy games based on the Sanguo Yanyi and sharing the same title, TOSE/Namco's "Sangokushi" duo for the FC is unrelated to Koei's big Sangokushi series, and the TOSE games were never released outside of Japan or remade/rereleased for any other platform. You can easily point out these two games because their names have subtitles (Chuugen no Hasha and Haou no Tairiku). The thing is, there are tons of Sangokushi-based games, many of them strategy games. TOSE alone has made many other such titles for other systems, and quite honestly I could not tell you if they're remakes or sequels to anything. Aside from that mess, I don't see the issue of having separate runs for conversions; this never stopped NES Mario vs All-Stars vs Advance and etc. Also, if you're correcting for No/no, you may want to correct for 2/II as well.

Thanks for clearing that up for us, Despatche. If this run doesn't break any rules, perhaps it could be rejudged now that we have the Vault.

Not by me :D
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

It doesn't need to be judged because it's a clear reject. He made at least five different runs. Here's another one of them. http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13436 You might notice that it's 10 minutes faster and in the vault era.
