First I want to thank by Mitjitsu and SwordlessLink. Without their run, this run wouldn't be possible. This run saves 139 frames = about 2.317 seconds. Thank you mr_roberts_z for fixing my spelling a little bit.

This is great...a new generation of "SM64 wars", if it ever comes to that. Until a 0 star run is possible (which I'm sure it will be sometime), the shortest run of SM64 can truly be 100% frame perfect. Here's a YES vote, hoping to bring about that perfection with each new run that comes out. Oh, and nice camera angles.

Awesome. Looks very very tight without any appearant flaws. I wasn't very fond of the camera angles in Bowser 3, it seems like you did your best to hide where you were going at some parts. Yes vote anyway.

Yes vote. Wow, SM64 has so many videos. Not that I'm complaining. EDIT: 11, including CCless, this, BLJless, and all the published ones.

Yes vote, though I'm not too sure about some of the camera angles (Bowser in the sky and the clicky inny-outy when you first enter the castle. blech). Bowser in the fire sea and the battle were nice. Good job.

If it wasn't you, I'd be interested to hear the reasoning for the no vote.

Can the submitter add some explanation of what was done differently here than in AKA & Swordless Link's run? 2 seconds in 405 are kind of hard to notice normally.

I don't think that voting no and don't give an explanation isn't really representative . . .

Because things went so well the last time this type of SM64 run was given a no explanation. Anyway, will probs vote yes if I watch it for it being faster than a run that was purely based on speed.

139 frames = 2.317 seconds. Good run. Though I have said it before and I will say it again, it really is pointless to shave off a couple seconds when we all know a 0 star run will eventually be made. Anywho, voting yes.

I didn't think I'd say this, but this run is inexplicably more entertaining than the last one. I still don't like it as much as the 16 star run, but it's good enough to give a yes vote to.

Yeah, let's never make TASes again so we can just wait for quantum computers, which undoubtedly will do better than us.

I loved it. The new camera angles were at times questionable but other times they were amazing. For people wanting to know how the time was shaved off the run, here are the improvements I observed: - Faster BLJ in Bowser 1. - Faster BLJ into Dire Dire Docks - In Bowser 2, jumps and dives instead of doing long jumps across the edge of the upper lava area. There may be other improvements that I didn't notice though. Anyway, voting yes.

I'm glad you were able to save more time! I really didn't think the new movie would be improved on so fast. I hope this isn't the last run of the game we see :)

oh silly chalame :) I was just saying effort could be put towards finding large improvements instead of microscopic ones. I am not exactly sure how you related that to quantum computers, but then again, you are you.

Wow, with the improvemetns I did notice (quicker BLJ stop in Bowser 1, much faster DDD entry most notably and better angles in the last half of Bowser 3) I'm surprised this is not even 3 seconds faster. Still, excellent camera work for some new angles. Yes vote.

The camera work was really lousy in the beginning. The clicky inny-outty thing is annoying, which didn't bode well. The camera follows Mario really close, which makes it hard to tell what's going on and enjoy what Mario is doing. In Bowser 1, the camera inexplicably cuts away from Bowser and zooms in on Mario just as Bowser touches the bomb, so we don't get to see him getting launched backwards off of it, which would have been more entertaining. By this point I expected the rest of the video to be crap. Then it turned around. The camera for the Bowser 2 fight finally zoomed out enough to see what was going on, and Mario got some huge air on those two jumps! Bowser 3 fight looked really efficient, exactly what a TAS should be. I definitely liked the second half of the movie, but I liked all of the last movie. I couldn't really notice the 2 seconds of time saved, but I could certainly notice how annoying the camera was in the first half. As a whole I didn't quite enjoy it enough to vote Yes to it, but I give it a solid Meh. Kind of a Meh+.
