I was torn as to whether I should put this in Off topic or Sites, to which I chose the former. I noticed for the movie Top Gear http://tasvideos.org/113M.html the total number of seeds was 1/2. My question is, how can you have only 1/2 a seed? Would that not be a leecher, or could it/is it a max download speed type of thing?

It's the automatic script set up by Bisqwit that monitors the amount of peers needed for each movie. In case there are none, it doesn't seed anything, thus becoming a "1/2 seed".

More of an anything, it is a FAQ. It really means "0" seeds, but it is more encouraging than just saying that there are no seeds, because there are some users who are running my btfriend program (hopefully more after this post!), which automatically starts seeding those files which are currently being attempted to download by some users and/or those files which have most unfair ratio of downloaders to seeds. In other words, it is a promise that if you start downloading, there will be a seed. (Though it may take anything from 5 to 60 minutes until it appears.)

Ah, I see. So with half a seed displayed here, that really means no seeds? Interesting... thanks for the help in quenching my curiosity moozooh and Bisqwit!
