Sounds just right for me.

Can't argue with that.
Kirby said so, so it must be true. ( >'.')>

I'd vote for Shining Force, but I haven't actually watched it. >.>

This falls somewhere between Castlevania and Zelda, I don't think RPGs make particualry good choices here since the luck manipulation isn't really been shown in such a visual way, while the runs I've just mentioned have manipulation done through actions, I've decided to side with Zelda since it required a lot of health management, manipulation of enemies, bomb drops and damage boosts, all while making it seem like a casual playthrough.

If it's finished in time, Aria of Sorrow 100% will be the luckiest TAS of 2008. This year, it's LoZ

This was for me, a pretty easy choice; Baxter & Phils Legend of Zelda run.

For this category, I like to imagine Shining Force as a marathon runner whose competitors keep randomly tripping on rocks, pebbles, curbs, and even their own shoelaces.
How fleeting are all human passions compared with the massive continuity of ducks.

Runs by other players have good luck, great luck or even fantastic luck. DarkKobold's Shining Force has OPTIMAL LUCK. Not to say the run can't be improved, there's strategy/character/item choices and other sorts of things, but there just can't be anything luckier.

I'll respect the optimal luck achieved by the Shining Force run, but I personally did not find that run entertaining. I could only watch 2 hours of "optimized" cursor movements and critical hits for the first 10 minutes. If I was voting for the luckiest TAS, by definition it's Shining Force If I was voting for the luck based TAS I enjoyed most it would be one of these. (There is somewhat of a personal choice in these selections; I haven't seen a couple of the runs.) [931] NES Dragon Warrior 3 (USA) by dave_dfwm in 1:50:36.18 [950] SGB Pokémon Blue (USA/Europe) by Primorial#soup in 1:18:58.78 [766] NES Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (USA PRG1) by adelikat in 17:50.0 Based mostly off of luck based entertainment value, I'm voting for the Dragon Warrior 3 TAS. I'm hugely outnumbered, it's cool though.
