You need to improve the lag reduction using more efficiently both characters, it seems that the second character is not active enough, he is just eager to die, If you make him kill more enemies the lag will decrease a lot, on the long run, you will earn frames and seconds eventually. The hunger for destruction of the character has a very nice side effect, improves the entertainment factor (level five of your movie is a good example of this). (one character runing like hell + one character killing like crazy = less lag, more gore) it looks quite good but i think you could improve it, that's why i vote meh.

I also noticed a lot of lag, but assumed that the runners had done everything they could given the limitations: limited number of lives and attack range. There's definitely theoretical improvement to be had, but I'll believe the practicability of lag reduction when I see it. It looks to be a thoughtfully designed TAS, which I definitely appreciate. My complaint is mainly that the game is slow by design. I do realize that this is more or less identical to the TMNT games, minus half a dimension, so maybe I'm just biased in favor of ninjas. I'm not sure if the game itself belongs in the catalogue, but I was entertained by the antics and such, so I give this run a weak Yes.

I see all of the words you say.You can try yourself. If the 2p attack back, for example the 5-1,the dropping place will make the 1p damaged. 3-2 2p cannot attack back because we must stand on the tin together. 2-1 On the table, there is no need to let the 2p attack back because there is no lag. 2-2 I make the 2p die,so there is also no need. At the beginning of 5-1,if 1p attack,2p's attack is not avaliable except that 2p stop for a few seconds. But there is a new problem,if 2p stop, the robot at last couldn't be killed because 1P is in the right. If I kill the robot,1p cannot run.If I didn't kill, there will be much more lag than the start.
Do the work.

So I guess this game was the reason Game Freak couldn't market their hit RPG series in America as "Pocket Monsters"...

I thought this run was very good for this game. The lag does present a problem but I thought that it was dealt with rather well as it can get really slow at times. I've done a few 1 player runs myself and now having seen a 2 player run completed I think this one should definitely be published.
