I looked around the rules, and didn't see anything forbidding this(Though I might have missed it), but is it allowed to ask for a video to be seeded? I tried to show the NES Gradius video to a friend of mine, and there aren't any seeds for it. I'd just link him to the emulator/input file/rom image, but I don't think he'd be able to set it all up. I don't have the video on hand anymore myself, otherwise I'd show it to him.

Thanks for the link. However, as it turns out a seeder logged on(I checked the torrent myself when he said there were no seeders, so I know somebody had to have logged on). Thanks anyway. :)

I believe I have asked this before, so here is what I remember of the answer: There can be 0 or 1/2 seeds for a torrent, but as soon as someone (you) wishes to download, an automatic seeding script begins the magic. Given enough time, Bisqwit (I believe) will be seeding to you through an automatic seeder, and you will eventually have the download complete. Doing it this way (as opposed to seeding everything constantly) saves bandwidth. Hopefully I remembered everything correctly, but that is the gist of it ;)

I believe it's fine to request seeding, but usually Bisqwit's autoseed script thing kicks in. This is probably a good time to bring up http://tasvideos.org/Helping.html#UrgentSeedRequests. Specifically, it would be nice if there was a RSS feed or something for it.. Oh and in future, it would be great if you can make your subjects more informative (like, "Okay to request seeds?") so we know what it's about :)
