Maybe it's just me, but the link to your WIP isn't working. Could you check it please?

I'm pretty sure there's 45 episodes, each with 5 levels. But that's only if you unlock the Atari bonus stages. Are you planning on doing that?
There is a cheat to unlocking the atari levels from the beginning. I can't remember how to unlock them legit, but using the code would be okay, due to not changing the game play at all.

There is no "legit" way of unlocking the atari bonus levels. I know. I have completed the game on DS. You have to use the cheat code. There is no other way of unlocking those levels. BTW, I use the cheat code before starting episode 1

Bizhawk has a new DS core in the latest dev builds so I thought I'd test it with this game. The game is very sync-friendly so improving previous levels is easy. I'm not sure how this compares to the old WIPs in this thread since those files are long gone, but I'm pretty confident this episode is faster than those. http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/62279214089241435 Link to video

Wow! I thought N+ was a flash game for PC only. I'll wait for Bizhawk release and than try this game.

Original N was flash for PC, N+ was released for other platforms.

slamo, you last TAS goes out of sync at the first stage. Bizhawk-2.4.1. There is also a mismatch in firmware.bin, maybe that's the reason. sha1:22A7547DBC302BCBFB4005CFB5A2D426D3F85AC6 NDS Firmware (note: given hash is with blank user data) Which one do you use?

It's likely caused by ds bios

There’s two different firmware.bin files that I discovered that exist. One of them contains the DS splash screen and the other one doesn’t. It’s likely slamo used the one that doesn’t have the DS splash screen as it’s currently the only verified dump of the firmware in bizhawk.

I haven't set a firmware file at all. Bizhawk lets you run the DS core without one. Hopefully if one is required, it's just a matter of inserting frames at the beginning to resync it?

It depends on the game really. Some games have no change to them and some have massive changes, RNG being one such example.

Probably. I tried it without firmware.bin and the results are the same.

Try this one? I resynced it on a verified firmware file, I just had to adjust a couple loading parts and also redo 11-0 for some reason. http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/63170876617741887

Goes out of sync at the beginning of Episode 1. Episode 0 works fine Seriously, I'm out of ideas where do you get a special version of firmware. The one from emu paradise is the only one I managed to find In short, don't bother!
