mmbossman: I agree with most of the opinions in the thread: This may have a chance to get published with killing Wily at the end, or by choosing a different route, or choosing different goals.... but this one won't make it. Rejecting.

Now with a Youtube link, I can watch it! Yay! You know, I rather like this movie. It's quick and punchy with few fiddly bits to get in the way. I don't care what you all say. Unfortunately, the choice of ending the ending the movie in this manner was a very bad one. It looks sloppy and feels terribly incomplete just ending the input file like that, even if it does technically finish anyway. I would say finish Wily up and get and admin to update the file; I would also speed past the bonus to get to the ending faster as well, but that's just me. I'm also in support of taking care of all three boss sets in one file; make things more compact. It wouldn't take a lot of time anyway. This is an excellent start, and I enjoyed watching it, but I cannot support publishing it in its current state. I look forward to future submissions for this game. One other thing: The Youtube video sounded very, very different from the dump I have. Why is this? Did the movie use a dump of a newer, improved version that was released later, or is it a dump that was artificially enhanced? Answers to this would be appreciated.

If the music in your dump sounds a lot "chiptunier" to you, you might have the CPS1 version. Compare it to the CPS2 version.

Considering so many people seem to be voting no/meh based on the ending, I think it would be better to fix it and submit as a new movie in order to get a more accurate poll result.

I'd happily give this a yes vote if the ending was fixed. It'd be arbitrary to make a rule stating exactly how much of the final boss should be played as it varies between games. A game like this, the entire concept of which is fighting bosses, should...like...fight all the bosses. Voting "No" for much the same reason as everyone else; the Wily Capsule needs to be shot down even if it IS an "optional tiebreaker" kind of bonus points thing. Sorry. Looks good otherwise!
