Brain Age: I support Alden's idea, but not just for Gruefood Delight. Would be awesome to test the games's capacity and get the best IQ ever.

I ended up wondering the same thing as them. So I've begun this. Probably have it done by Friday at the latest. This will however take the back burner over Sonic 2 All Emeralds that I am also currently doing, but this will be a refreshing relaxation from the masses of planning Sonic 2 will take. Note: I will be using Brain Age (E)

Perhaps make it like the Family Feud movie, and see what can be drawn and have it recognize it as something else?
A hundred years from now, they will gaze upon my work and marvel at my skills but never know my name. And that will be good enough for me.

My memory is fuzzy but I don't recall there being any points where you can "Draw" much. The most I can remember of something remotely "draw" like is where you had to make a line to allow the animals to get to the correct exit.

I was thinking more along the lines of drawing something that looks like a Q and having it register as a 7, and possibly more elaborate.

Because I am English and that is the version I legally own.

Generaly you need to go US, regardless your personal preferences / material The order is US > JAP > EU Generaly the only jap games accepted are jap exclusive... or does contain massive difference that justificate it Taking the europe version is the worst idea here i think Also, im not sure its gonna be very entertaining, well, i hope it will for you :p

I am unaware of there being any difference in the games, other than perhaps the currency game.

this wouldn't be my first TAS. I've done several, perhaps not published any and some were obsoluted (See: Zero Wing for GENS & Point Blank for PSX). The entertainment comes from seeing the end result, a sense of curiosity you could say.

Arukado, just because you find something boring doesn't mean everyone else will. This is going to come as a shockerooni to your ego, but your sole opinion isn't the only one that matters (aka Zurreco syndrome). I myself am looking forward to this (especially given alden's good taste in finding suitable TAS material) and because it'll further support my idea of the untapped DS's potential of heavily abusable stylus input.

Here is video footage It might be better to just show screenshots however. There wasn't all that much you could get away with, really. And 90% of the time it took all the weird jottings as 7 or a 0. Unless I've gone into the wrong game mode or something? best I pulled off was this;

This is one of the Age-detection games. there are others. You can select the game pressing select while choosing the game. There are two kinds of minigames, the Brain Age check and the Daily Training games. To get all training minigames, you'll have to get 20 stamps. To get a stamp, you must complete at least one game per DAY.
My first language is not English, so please excuse myself if I write something wrong. I'll do my best do write as cleary as I can, so cope with me here =) (ノಥ益ಥ)ノ

IMO the U>J>E order shouldn't apply for handhelds, because there's no NTSC/PAL/SECAM distinction then; instead it should be USA>EUR>AUS>GER>SPA>ITA>BRA>JAP>KOR>CHN or some other ordering that puts English first, then other European languages, then Asian languages starting with Japanese (although it would be amazing if there were major glitches only in the Korean version of The Legendary Starfy or something).

Ahh. I thought this was a bit too simple for nobody to have done it. Consider the video a WIP then, I'm finding this fun so I'll get to work on finishing this. [edit] Okay, some screenshots so far. I'm moving to work onto Sonic 2 now, will pick this back up later today. In the following screenshots the answers are still considered correct.

Nice, good luck! By the way you should be able to rotate the screen in the emulator, I think it's under the emulation menu.
I make a comic with no image files and you should read it. While there is a lower class, I am in it, and while there is a criminal element I am of it, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not free. -Eugene Debs

I have. But for the purpose of recording video it cannot be rotated or you get weird wrapping (The AVI record doesn't seem to take this into account). I was just after some quick screenshots while I wrapped up the session of this and rotating it manually was easiest. I promise you, I'm not sat there with my head tilted 90* XD

Is it wrong that I'm more excited about this than any other DS TAS?

What would be really nice, is how you can write about anything and still have the good answer, that would be funny to see all sort of answer :P
