Grey has a stronger charge shot, doing 5 damage over Ashe's 4.

Good vid man! About your Route: Beating Atlas with Rospark is faster -but IIRC you don't have enough LME to kill him at once, so enter with a Charge shot, Trans On to Rospark and then let him have it...I also think that Rosparks charged electric slaps ignore Damage Barrier once. About Condorock, open with a Charge shot, then switch to Helios and do the usual jumpslash-runslash-triple combo where possible, when out of reach, a charge attack perhaps? I'm not sure about how much damage Helios does per hit tho, you should try Thetis' Dragon-Jumpslash-groundslash too. Tip for Queenbee, the container breaks insanely fast (in regular play at least) with Deerburn, Rospark does tons of damage, and I don't really see anything coming anywhere close to that. Rockman ZX, beat with Helios or Thetis, both have combos where Model A can only hit for small amounts of damage compared.

That route posted earlier in the thread is old and slightly outdated. For Queenbee, I'll rapid-fire the hive and then use either Rospark or Aeolus/Helios to finish off the rest. Condorrock/Vultoron will be done with Aeolus, using the triple combo as much as possible. I don't think Thetis has any invincibility ignoring combos, so I'll use Aeolus for that, again using the triple combo as much as possible. From there on I'll mostly use ZX's triple jab, as that seems to be the fastest method to deal damage, along with Aeolus's triple jab.

Rapid fire the hive? with what? Model A >.> that takes forever compared to deerburn spamming triple arrows. Also, Helios can't outperform Rospark in damage on Kaizemine. On Condorock: Also, Dragon > JumpSlash > GroundSlash is Thetis' Damage Barrier ignoring combo. But Helios should be better yeah X_X

At the begin of the fight you automatically revert to Model A anyway. And Buckfire's triple arrows aren't spammable - they take a few frames after shooting until input is accepted again, and even then it takes some more frames to fire. So Model A would be faster, being able to fire every other frame. You're probably right about Rospark being faster, though.

I'll look into that. Next question: Which route should I take for the 4 bosses that can be done in any order? -Aeolus/Thetis/Vulturon/Queenbee (doing Thetis with Aeolus) or -Thetis/Aeolus/Vulturon/Queenbee (doing Thetis with Model A or Atlas(?) and Aeolus with Thetis)?

Strange, well, my experience stems solely from realtime play, in wich deerburn yielded faster results (for me), I should have thought about that. y'know, having super rapid buster in TAS and all X_X As for your next question, maybe choosing Helios first is the best way too go, seeing that he can combo...not something I'd advise in normal play, but since it's TAS, you should be able to get alot extra out of Helios stacking attacks. The alternative is fighting Helios without any good combo... When I think about it, I do recall being able to slam Thetis with Atlas twice each turn...however...each charge costs 4 LME, where Helios' combo costs nothing... My memory is fuzzy when it comes to damage, but I'm certain that Thetis' combo on Helios does 20 damage (12-4-4). I'm not sure what Helios' combo does, or what Atlas can inflict on Thetis. So...just fight those three battles (Helios w/o Thetis, Thetis w/ Helios and Thetis w/ Atlas) or calculate damage/time stuff.

Does anyone have a save file with everything (at least the Boss Battles mode) unlocked, so I could test things like that?

Bumping because I started another run of this game. DSM (Raider Pursuit) I use Ashe now because she has a shorter intro stage and shorter cutscenes. This saves over 40 seconds in the intro stage, and another 40 seconds later on.

Couldn't get the encode to sync. What version of the game are you using? It broke right at the title screen, immediately after you clicked the press start button.

Assuming you have the correct rom and it still desyncs, the cause is likely to be under emulation settings > enable (or disable) advance bus-level timing.

It was somehow related to the timing on entering the title screen. On the third try, this screen came out properly. Tries one and two the image on the bottom screen showed up both times. Not sure what the deal there is, but in any event: Encode

The bottom screen image being displayed on both screens means you used the (E) version instead of the (U) version.

New WIP (Raider Pursuit and Train) YouTube link Okay, now I'm finally done redoing the first few stages over and over again. Note: This version is done with advanced bus timing OFF. The other one was done with advanced bus timing on.

Arctic Ice Floe and Tower of Verdure done YouTube And no, I won't be progressing at this speed all the time. This was the result of a weekend of doing little else than working on this.

It's an uncharged shot, shot right after a charged shot so I can charge up for another charged shot. EDIT: I hex edited out the "missing shot", by making Ashe shoot it into the wall. So you won't see it in the final run anyway.

Why the weird route in the pirate's ship (right before fighting model F)? And why did you transform into the plant guy and then walk a bit as him before restarting the generators? Otherwise, looked good! I think my favorite bit in this was riding on the platforms as Phantom.

The backtracking? The door is without power, so the generator room has to be entered first. And the reason for walking a bit with the plant was to charge the attack (the attack that shoots straight up). Otherwise you can't get the generators working.

The route is a little odd on that part: you're supposed to turn on the generators first, to unlock the doors and turn on an elevator. But all doors but one somehow aren't locked and the top floor can be reached without using the elevator, so I do them first, to save time from backtracking.
Derakon wrote:

I need to use his charged electrical attacks to turn on the generators.

Just finished watching it. It looks awesome, as usual. Looking forward to the rest!
