Well, My first Master System run. Hope this turns out good.
This is a 55 frame improvement over Frenom's run. I cant reallty tell what the improvements are since Frenom's run was made with an earlier version. But this run involves a route change in 7-3.
  • Uses Dega v1.16 MAME core.
Possible Improvements
  • Since I couldnt get the RAM watch working, You could probably use that to monitor Speed better.

I enjoyed this movie in which hands firmly gripping a shaft lead to balls deep in multiple holes.

Good day and such. Your friendly neighbourhood lurker wishes to submit an encode for this movie. It's a little rough as I'm not prepared for a proper Dega encoding, but I will attempt to remedy that situation at a later date. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4Et4PZdy-0

Thanks for the encode, RadioKJ! Yes vote on an improvement to a published movie. This game continues to have one of the most bizarre ending sequences I've ever seen.

Once again, I have no idea what just happened. This being an improvement, it's even more of a yes vote.

Thank you, dear lurker! I would be interested in seeing the video file you uploaded there so as to determine how it holds up to the site's standards (judging by the logo and subtitle you've read the encoder guidelines; it's also standard practice to upload the encode to a mirror site such as archive.org). We can always use more encoders. :-)

Very good run, nice improvement. Voting yes. Fearless running at a high speed is what a TAS needs. I'm a fan of this game. This run is too short :) It really begs for a warpless version. Hope it will come some day.

They tolerate me! They really tolerate me! But seriously folks. I'm afraid the original data (MP4/h264) doesn't quite hold up to standards. I actually ended up using a screen recorder (iShowU HD) to capture the video since I wasn't able to snag the Dega source to set it up on Linux with MEncoder. Later tonight if this video is still without proper encode I'll have a go at it, but don't wait up for me.

The format's okay; we have published movies using that combination and adelikat has stated that it's acceptable...

As you've figured out, that's probably a no-no.

We don't technically need an encode until the judges reach a decision (and even then only if the run is accepted), so take your time.

Aye. And if you pay attention to the end you'll notice the video flicker when Dega popped up the status bar to say "playback stopped". Fine enough for a preview video, but I'll stick to the guidelines when I get around to doing things properly.

Good point. I wanna redo the logo anyway. GIMP was starting to piss me off so I kinda half-arsed it. Next time gadget.
