This is a 100% completion run of Solstice. Getting 100% means visiting every room and picking up all items. We have a published Solstice run here, but this submission is not meant to obsolete that one, rather be published alongside it. This 100% run got some support in the NES thread to be submitted, so now I leave its fate up to you.

The route used in this run is a slightly tweaked version of Lucid Faia's run on SDA. The "jumping on spikes" trick is present in this submission, as well as some moon walking (only in some rooms, I didn't want to overdo it). Some sections are similiar to the any% run, and I managed to copy them into this run without desync, which was very nice.
If you are unfamiliar with the game, you might want to read these comments as they explain the basics of this game.
I have uploaded this run on youtube into two parts, part 1 and part 2. Anyone who knows more about encoding than I do is very welcome to do their own encoding.

The only part that I didn't like were the blank screens between every room but that stopped being annoying about half-way in and it's not like those were something you could have prevented. Out of curiosity, why do you go into the pause menu two or three times?

I realized that about an hour after I had uploaded the run, which was kinda awkward. I thought 10 minutes was the limit. Well, now I know for the next time.

This was done to select the potion that makes all objects in a room disappear. Each time you want to use a potion you have to enter the menu and select it.

My life is now complete; I have seen every room and every item in Solstice! Yes vote, a weak one, but still yes. The any% run was much more mindblowing, this one had some repetition and dead space, like walking into rooms only to leave them immediately... but I was still able to appreciate it. Good job, Randil!

With so many rooms, route optimization must've been really complex and the run is pretty short for 100%. The spike stepping trick and moonwalk were also cool. However, I found it incredibly boring and it felt awfully long for only twelve minutes. Aside from that, I don't see any TAS merit in this run, as it's repetitive, doesn't feature evident super-human play, interesting outside-of-the-box thinking, luck manipulation or glitch abuse. Therefore, I vote No, sorry.

I give this one a yes vote, though I'm not in love with the goal. I liked the 100% item portion, but the 100% map completion detracts from the run a bit. It would be a little better if there was more to show for it than a listed 100% after the game is finished, but as it stands it seems hardly worth all the rooms that are entered and then immediately exited. Unfortunately, an in-game listed 100% is a less arbitrary goal than "all items", so it should probably be the one published. The pointless room trips don't detract enough to justify not going with the in-game 100% as a goal. Either way, this is a pretty entertaining run overall. Thanks Randil!
