This is an improvement of my previous TAS, improved by 106 Frames (1.76 seconds). For those who are interested, at the end the In-Game time is "6:08"
Aims
  • Aims for fastest time
  • Takes damage to save time
  • Manipulates luck (not too much)
  • Cancels missions
  • Genre: Platform
About the run
This run cancels missions, with means it uses "warps" to get to the final stages since the beginning, this is the route used:
-Intro Stage (Golem)
-Disposal Center (Aztec Falcon)
-Find Shuttle (Escaped)
-Duel in Desert (Escaped)
-Defend the Base 2 (Hanumachine)
-Neo Arcadia Shrine (Herculious Anchortus)
-Neo Arcadia Tower (Rainbow Devil)
-Neo Arcadia Core (Copy-X)
Note: To do the "Warp" you must escape the Find Shuttle mission, which then unlocks Dual in Desert mission, if you escape in said mission the base will get attacked, thus unlocking the Defend the Base 2 mission without any choice.
Weapons
Since this run is done using "Warps", the only weapons being used are the Z-Buster and the Z-Saber.
The Z-Saber was leveled up to get the Triple Slash and the Air Rolling Slash, the latter is a must in this run, because how quick it can do some bosses, to get such technique Zero needs to Air slash 100 enemies.
Improvements
There are 2 improvements in the whole run, one of them is on the Neo Arcadia Shrine mission, I found that it's possible to skip one of the temples, the one that has invincible enemies by climbing the wall. Unfortunately, if you skip the other temples with the bosses, you can't beat the game at the end, since the first door of Neo Arcadia Core won't open.
The other improvement is, the Harpuia fight, I found a faster way to beat him, which is getting hit in the air while he is falling.
Other Comments
Thanks to everyone ;).
Especially to klmz, because of him I found that temple skip.

Flygon: Added YouTube module.
FractalFusion: Accepting as an improvement to the published run.
Aktan: Processing...

Nice, I liked the improvements. Yes vote.
http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

Nice job with the improvement! The Harpuia fight definitely looks pretty good. It's a shame though that SDC isn't that fun to watch in this game compared to the combos in other MMZ games (one notable exception, though, is it's still hilarious watching Copy-X bounce at the left wall). In particular, I've never really liked the elephant battle since you do fairly little damage per strike, even if that is the best way to fight him. In any case, well-deserved Yes vote.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
Shoutouts and thanks to mklip2001 for arguably being the nicest and most supportive person on the forums.
