The Nintendo DS version of Dragon's Lair is a port of the Arcade version, known for its usage of full-motion video and high amounts of trial and error. This port features 2 modes, "Arcade Mode", which is true to the original arcade, as well as "Home Mode", which adds a few scenes not present in the former mode as well as a new gameplay sequence.
Spikestuff manages to rescue the princess in the game's Home Mode in record time.
