Hi, I'm JQJ, this name is derived from my Chinese name. I mainly play the Super Mario Bros. series and have been studying the techniques in them for a long time.
When I was in primary school, I began to get involved in emulator games. At that time, I enjoyed playing many classic games on the NES and SNES, such as Tetris, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Super Mario World. When I first learned about TAS, it was in 2013 when I saw the "Super Mario Bros. Warpless" movie by HappyLee on our domestic website. It was extremely exciting and featured many impressive techniques. Later, I learned about the TASVideos website and have been following it till now.
I have always wanted to make my first TAS, but due to the academic pressure, I haven't had the time to do it. It wasn't until after I graduated from university and actually started my first project that I realized that many of the details required for optimization were far more challenging than I had imagined. So Here, I would like to pay respects to those predecessors who have created high-quality and highly entertaining TASes.
