This is where I write my descriptions for upcoming submissions.

Disney Stitch Jam
"Placeholder"
Disney Stitch Jam is a 2009 DS rhythm game based on the Lilo & Stitch franchise. Developed by Cattle Call, this game sees Stitch venture through 10 music-filled levels in attempt to save his love interest, Angel. This TAS clears Story Mode on the hardest difficulty as fast as possible.

Objectives

Notes

(Tutorial notes?)
Missing the final note in a stage loses 54 frames.
After clearing a stage, you get awarded DGamer items depending on your performance. These pop-ups lose time. While you can miss notes to theoretically get a lower score, in practice, this still results in the same pop-ups appearing. So I opted to get a Perfect rating in every course. Outside of frame-perfectly getting through cutscenes, there's not much to note, but at least the game is still nice to look at.

Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? (DS)
Are you smarter than fifth grader?
'Cuz there's gonna be a test later!
Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? is a DS game based on the gameshow of the same name. This TAS is a 338 frame improvement over [7050] DS Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? by Spikestuff in 02:23.834.

Objectives

Notes

The only major timesave is skipping a cutscene faster. I think Spikestuff might've missed it. By wasting frames, I can manipulate the final question to require a one-character answer, saving 40 frames.

Tom and Jerry in Midnight Snack
"Placeholder"
Tom and Jerry in Midnight Snack is a . The objective of this game is to guide a sleepwalking Jerry to another mousehole by dragging arrows and springs into the level.
I used to play this game back on Teletoon Retro's website, back when that was still a thing.

Objectives

Notes

The hardest part of this run is not falling to sleep yourself with how slow Jerry sleepwalks. All keys have to be collected in order to open the mouse door. You can only place arrows and springs on empty squares.
Springs launch Jerry forward, allowing him to jump over the next square, skipping whatever is on it. Jerry moves faster when on a spring, so it's faster to use them in your route, even in places where it's not necessary.
Green arrows change direction every 19 frames. I only had to deal with the first one, and I didn't have to waste any frames to get the correct direction. Orange arrows disappear after being walked on.
After completing the final level, the game congratulates you for beating 80 levels. This is a typo, as there are only 20.
After redoing some levels, I saved 7 seconds in Level 19 and 6 seconds in Level 20. I feel like the solutions I have are optimal, but who knows? Maybe there's something I'm just not seeing.

Shoot-Out!
Shoot-Out! is a homebrew GB game by flower studio. In this 2023 game, your reaction times are put to the test as you face-off against five outlaws.

Objectives

Notes

The time it takes for the outlaw to shout "Draw!" is randomized. Some outlaws can also "fake-out" the player. I manipulate RNG by wasting frames so that almost no fake-outs appear (except for Damsel's), and to get the shortest waiting period before the draw.

Walfie's Nonograms
Walfie's Nonograms is a homebrew GBC game by Walfie. This TAS clears all 150 of the game's puzzles. (how many of each size?)

Objectives

Notes

Only the A button can be used to fill in squares. You can hold the A button to fill multiple squares without stopping.
The 5x5's can be cleared very quickly. However, the game will not save the puzzle as completed if the final time is 0 seconds, which is why I wait for the timer to hit 1 second for the first 10 puzzles.
