Thought I'd come back to this WIP I left hanging for a couple months. Managed to sort out the boss-fight stuff I was stuck on, along with some other improvements like maximising the amount of corner zips in the run. This file gets to the middle of 5-4 because I am once again BLOCKED BY THE FIERY WHOMP BOY!!! tbh I thought I would never get this done, but now that I'm here, it is aaaaaaaaabsolutely getting done!!! Also I played the Gamecube Adventure Island remake and it seems rather different to the original control-wise, so if my computer can run Gamecube TASing stuff, I MAY, repeat, MAY, make a TAS of that as well.

Improved on EZGames69's WIP of 1, 2 and 3. Improved it by slowing down to avoid weapons to get an extra skateboard. I have also completed World 4 with only a few, seemingly mandatory slowdowns, due to moving platforms, those thwomp-like enemies (AGAIN!!!) and those bouncing boulder enemies. The boulder enemies specifically always spawn going down a hill I have to go up, which always results in a situation where I can't jump over or go under them, so I opted to just trip through em and lose two health bar notches. Two birds and all that

One of the only Adventure Island games to not be TAS'd yet (Maybe it's the only one, I'm not sure). I've played through and loved Super Adventure Island, enjoyed New Adventure Island and decided "What the hell". It's pretty short (only 24 levels) and pretty fast. The only two things that may need work are the boss fights (which are my weakness) and the crusher enemies in the boss levels who are easily the most annoying part of the game. Only sometimes you can jump over them and not get burnt, and only sometimes can you make it over them to begin with! Hell, there's one siuation in 2-4 where there is a crusher AND a spiky mole vehicle that coincide to kill you! Had to REALLY slow down for that one (still not as much as the RTA, but it still felt horrible to do). If you have any improvements to suggest to me, PM me. Or I'll get Master Higgins to throw an axe at you
Edit: Assuming I finish this TAS (big assumption) and emulators for mobile phones cannot be made to have TASing capabilities (so sorry, Gacha wa shi Meijin no Bōken Jima and Adventure Island Quest by Takahashi Meijin), then Adventure Island: The Beginning on Wii will be the last (as far as I am aware).
