1 frame saved by not jumping to follow the statue boss on the second time he jumps. I tried not following his first jump, but it didn't save any time for some reason.
1 frame saved from better room exit. I slightly changed the movement right before you jump all the way to the left side of the pit. This altered my position just enough to be able to clip the corner better on the final axe jump at the top.
2 frames saved from lag management. I initially lost 6 frames at the beginning of the next room from extra lag, but I found out that jumping right before the door transition can affect it. So I only had 4 frames of lag before jumping off the ledge and I only did a 1 frame jump to prevent the lag during the jump.
It might be worth adding some entertainment to the part of the boss fight I changed. I wasn't sure what kind of flare you would enjoy.
