What do you want from me (Samsara)? It's Minecraft. You've heard of Minecraft. You know what Minecraft is. You've either played Minecraft, lying about never having played Minecraft, or are currently playing Minecraft. It's a game about mining. Crafting, too, may be involved. It's Hatsune Miku's greatest achievement, she has never done and will never do anything wrong with it. Phantoms were a community vote so my (Samsara's) previous statement is true.

Minecraft: New Nintendo 3DS Edition & Knuckles (featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series) is Minecraft's New Nintendo 3DS Edition. And Knuckles. It features Dante from the Devil May Cry series. It is roughly equivalent to Minecraft Java Edition's 1.12 update, emphasis on the "rough". Phantoms were added in 1.13, which makes this version of the game the only truly perfect final version of Minecraft. Stereoscopic 3D is going to be added in a future update, and I (Samsara) am really excited for it! I (Samsara) sure hope the 3DS eShop doesn't shut down 3 years ago!!!

Minecraft's okay. I (Samsara) mostly play modded.

Real OGs will remember that I (Samsara) have already TASed this category on Java Edition, but that was 10 years ago and so I (Samsara) was a lot more cringe and a lot less decent of a person. Unfortunately, in that time frame, the glitch used to achieve that run was patched, and those changes made it into Minecraft: New Nintendo 3DS Edition, which is weird because you'd think a version of Minecraft based off of Bedrock Edition wouldn't be fixing glitches whatsoever.

Good news on that front, though! Because it's sort of Bedrock Edition, there's a new method that's roughly twice as fast as the old... whatever it was. It's been 10 years and I (Samsara) deleted the old run out of shame. That glitch is lost media now. Should it ever be found? No! The new glitch is a lot harder to explain, so I (Samsara) won't. Look, I (Samsara) am still burnt out after Sweet Home. Writing detailed submission texts about video game glitches is exhausting. There's only so many jokes I (Samsara) can make, and also the likelihood of finding the joke that ends the universe increases the more I (Samsara) write. Do you think I (Samsara) want to be responsible for ending the universe? Yes, but that's entirely beside the point!!!

The unfortunate thing about the glitch is that most of the game up until it happens still resembles normal Minecraft, so there isn't much to say, because y'all know Minecraft and its gameplay loop. If you don't know Minecraft's gameplay loop, please read the name of the game until you do.

This is in no way related to the TAS and I (Samsara) apologize, but I (Samsara) need to vent out a bit of frustration. Damn, video editing is kind of a pain when you're new to it. Davinci Resolve isn't particularly friendly to me (Samsara). I (Samsara) feel like it constantly misrepresents how the final product is going to look, leading to things like weird frame drops and lag getting in because they don't show up in editor but do in the final render. It's frustrating, especially when you (Samsara) put off a project until the final minute. Like I (Samsara) am definitely a better editor than I (Samsara) was... I (Samsara) dunno, 10 years ago (it's not like anything I (Samsara) did 10 years ago can be seen since I (Samsara) deleted it out of shame), but it's still kind of an alien process to me (Samsara). Maybe I (Samsara) just need to get used to it. Good news is that any of the actual sloppy editing can be passed off as a joke since there's intentionally sloppy editing for comedic effect! This is a teaching opportunity: If your entire brand is irony, then people will excuse actual lack of effort as just part of the brand.

Also not related to the TAS and I (Samsara) apologize again: Sometimes I (Samsara) feel pretty self-centered, in a bad way. Like, okay, recently I (Samsara) put out a "sequel" to an inside joke from 10 years ago that I (Samsara) am not even sure anyone else remembers. I (Samsara) want it to be for the people that remember, but if no one but me (Samsara) remembers, then it's just for me (Samsara) isn't it? Sort of a way of trying to provide a definitive version for something that I (Samsara) really think I (Samsara) failed on, something I (Samsara) am less likely to delete out of shame. It's still a bit cringe, I (Samsara) will admit, but I (Samsara) think the internet is finally starting to shift towards the idea that everyone should just be their full cringe selves. Maybe this sequel will work on a new generation that definitely wasn't around on IRC 10+ years ago to see what prompted the inside joke. Like I (Samsara) think the overall joke still WORKS with no context, but the specifics of it that make it funnier are still locked behind that decade old conversation. Oh well. It's out there, people might be watching it, and hopefully they enjoy it for what it is.
