Revengers of Vengeance, also known in Japan as Battle Fantasy (バトル ファンタジー), is a fighting game that was developed by Micronet for the Sega CD. It features simple fighting game mechanics inspired by Street Fighter II and three game modes that make use of it, one of which is the multi-genre "The Quest to Destroy Venum". This mode plays like a role-playing game where the objective is to find the relevant plot items and build up enough strength to defeat the diabolical Venum. Money and experience is earned by partaking in fights or going on quests, the latter which is represented by minigames of vertically scrolling shoot 'em ups.
