Riven: The Sequel to Myst is, as the title mentions, the sequel to Myst. Developed by Cyan and released in 1997, the player is tasked to rescue Catherine, who has been taken hostage by Gehn, Atrus's own father. Like its prequel, the game is very heavy on puzzles.
Spikestuff rescues Catherine in record time.

Due to the sheer speed of the main gameplay, an alternate encode is available that slows it down to 10% of the regular speed.
EPILEPSY WARNING: This movie transitions to different screens in a very rapid fashion, which may cause epileptic seizures to those affected. The alternate encode that slows the gameplay down to 10% mitigates it a bit, but it can be slowed down on YouTube or a media player further if needed.
