Nyghtmare: The Ninth King is a homebrew action platformer that was made as a throwback to the classic Castlevania games, specifically the more linear ones that were released for the NES and Game Boy. It features gameplay and a story that are heavily influenced by those games, in addition to some mechanics borrowed from Mega Man. The story involves the sudden appearance of the Kingdom of Mortemire, which in the past was corrupted by a evil call and had to be brought down for the sake of the world. Two people have responded its rise: Aryn, a mysterious woman with amnesia who awakened next to the castle, and Blizz, a knight from the outside lands. They have set out to fulfill their duty to destroy whatever evil force has caused Mortemire to rise again.

In this run, inconsistent chooses to play as Aryn and completes her revenge against a character who isn't Dracula as fast as possible.
