Digimon World 4 is an action RPG developed by BEC and published by Bandai for the GameCube in 2005. Loosely based on the Digital Monster X-Evolution movie, the player is a part of the D.S.G. (Digital Security Guard). A virus known as the X-Virus is spreading across and infecting many Digimon; furthermore, the Doom Server has taken the place of the Yamato Server after it disappeared. The DSG are tasked to stop the spread of the X-Virus as well as figure out what happened to the Yamato Server.
