Super Fighter, also known as Fatal Encounter, is a fighting game that developed for DOS computers by Taiwanese company C&E. The rights to the game were later bought out by a small company called Super Fighter Team, who translated the game to English and fixed some bugs. It is what can be charitably said as "inspired" by Street Fighter II, tracing over many of its animations and lifting some of its sound effects wholesale. Even many of the characters appear to be blatant copies of certain characters such as E. Blanka and Zangief. As for the gameplay, it can also be charitably described as replicating the gameplay of Street Fighter II on 1990s IBM computer hardware to the best of C&E's ability.
