The story of Astérix takes place in the year 50 BCE. All of Gaul has been occupied by the Romans except for a little village. Astérix and his Gallic companions live in that village, fighting the Romans.
In this game, Julius Caesar has snatched Obelix, Astérix's best friend, and is about to feed him to lions! But before anyone can even blink, Asterix comes, kicks Julius' butt, and comes to the rescue of his friend!
This game is based on one of the most successful French comic book series of the same name, with more than 325 million comics sold worldwide since 1959.
