Saint Seiya: Ougon Densetsu Kanketsu Hen (聖闘士星矢 黄金伝説 完結編, lit. Saint Seiya: Golden Legend - Final Chapter) is a video game adaptation of the shounen manga series Saint Seiya for the Famicom, of which the prequel (Saint Seiya: Ougon Densetsu) saw an official French release on the NES titled Les Chevaliers du Zodiaque: La Légende d'Or. It is a RPG/beat 'em up hybrid that adapts the Twelve Temples arc from the manga, where the Bronze Saints have to save Saori Kido from a fatal injury by finding the Pope, the only one that can heal her. To do this, the Bronze Saints must cross the Twelve Temples of the Zodiac, each one guarded by a Gold Saint. The sections where the player goes to the temple is shown as a side-scrolling beat 'em up and the fights with the Gold Saints are played like a turn-based RPG.
Maomao improves the previous movie by approximately 108 seconds thanks to an improved routing, more precise movement and camera control, optimized glitch execution, better Cosmo management, and faster boss strategies. Please read the author's notes for details.
WARNING: There is a high amount of flashing lights during every Gold Saint encounter and at the ending that is not suitable to those with photosensitivity issues.
