Rockman Gaiden is a Mega Man ROM hack made by SOPHIA in 2014. This hack removed the select button glitch, making boss fights feel more natural compared to the original game. The delay when getting a health or energy refills was cut down for smooth gameplay. This has been a tradition in ROM hacks which is great for TASing and speedrunning in general. This ROM hack also changed level layout and music for a different experience, however Magnet Beam zips are still present.
