Fatal Fury 2 is the second game in the Fatal Fury fighting game series by SNK. It has four attack modes as opposed to the previous game's three, a new Desperation Move and retains the two-plane battle system, with the player can now move to the adjacent plane. It was later ported to various systems, such as Sega Genesis, SNES and Game Boy.

Taking place one year after the defeat of Geese Howard, Wolfgang Krauser, a German nobleman, becomes the new sponsor for the new "King of Fighters" tournament. The tournament now takes place around the world with both veterans and newcomers competing and battling against each other.
