Rockman 2: Basic Master is a ROM hack of Mega Man 2 that overhauls a good chunk of the game. Included are new levels, new music, new enemies, and different behaviors from existing Mega Man 2 bosses. There are also some neat shoutouts to other video game franchises to look out for.

Unlike the other movie, longbao plays the version 1.0 of this game which lacks the major glitches and skips present in said movie, making it feel close to natural gameplay.

WARNING: There are several instances of rapidly flashing lights during and after the Wily Stage boss fights, which may cause epileptic seizures for those affected.
