About The Movie File

  • Recorded with VisualBoy Advance v1.72 Re-recording 19.3;
  • Abuses programming errors;
  • Uses warps to save time;
  • Aims for fastest time;(SERIOUSLY)
  • Uses SRAM to unlock a secondary character.

About The Game

This game is not my favourite, because I like the Castlevania series, but I don't like whips. Fortunately, we have Maxim Kischine: ninja best friend of Juste Belmont, armed with his Stellar Sword and his saddistic laugh.

About The Run

In this run I used the "whip launch" glitch to get inside a wall, and then zip my way out of the castle. My original intention was to end the run with a Maxim versus Maxim fight, but that's impossible... There's nothing in the final room in Castle A. I also found a new glitch, which makes the shuriken hit every frame while the sword is active.
 Thanks to:
 Kaz, for finding the whip launch glitch (but he doesn't care about Maxim);
 Atma, for the hint about where to end the movie;
 JXQ, for including me in his thanks in his Juste run.

note:
  • About the SRAM usage, I repeat what I said in the AoS hard mode run. Just complete the game with the best ending and then delete that saved game file. Now compare the resulting .sav file with the .sav created when you start this run.
  • My goal is just to finish the game as fast as possible. If you want to see more of the game, check JXQ's run.

adelikat: Accepting for publication along side the "Juste run"

Wow... I'm 1337! I don't know for how much time. Now I'm waiting for xebra's vote!

I WONDER IF YOU'RE GOING TO PUT AN IMAGE IN THE ZIP! Voting Meh, again, since I don't find this run to be too anything in general blah justification here.

I uploaded a submission 1337 (A game genie speedrun :p) but it was removed, because it was either offensive or just too stupid to even be mentioned on the site. Oh well. Wasn't meant to be taken seriously, obviously. Was hoping to just cancel the submission so it'd end up in gruefood, but instead it was completely banished into the phantom zone. No hard feelings I hope.

I assume because it was completely and entirely removed that someone really doesn't want that video on here, so I won't post it. If you really want it, I can send you a PM.

Sub-30? Haha, man, together with the rerecord per frame ratio, this IS 1337! Of course, it's a yes.

I can't believe it... the 'whip/sword' launch into the wall is even more efficiently done, and the more pwnage final fight! Damn, can't believe it still.. sub-30 is crazy! Watched 2 wonderful HoD runs today... both ought to be t3h 1337s!

Do you mean too broken to be boring? I loved this run, nice and glitchy, just the way I like them.

I prefer to see perfect gameplay. Use of glitches is cool sometimes, but when you make the game unrecognizable, i might as well stare at static.

Heh.. that Game Genie run... I believe you should have choosen a more appropriate vocabulary.

What... the... hell just happened. [22:45] <Cardboard> I won't rate it today. [22:45] <Cardboard> But it is in for a good ranking. [22:46] <Cardboard> But I didn't get the "feelin' good"-feeling that other TAS:es give me. [22:46] <Cardboard> No warm fuzzy feeling. In other words, I like. The first WTF:er never had a chance to end before the game, and the run, was over. Good work.

Another awesome thing about this run is that Maxim still visits six different areas of the castle, the names of which are displayed for all!
<Swordless> Go hug a tree, you vegetarian (I bet you really are one)
