Guanobowl, is it safe to say you've seen at least one of the warnings posted about hex-editing later rather than earlier? It could cause a lot of frustration down the road if your expectations are too high for it, especially knowing you could have found it out much earlier and redone the parts needed to include the timesaver.

about the manipulating rupee drops to have 10, why didn't you just get 20 on your way into hyrule castle? I'm sure side hopping up the chain and jumping down couldn't waste that much time...

It's still an unnecessary diversion.

It would be cool to show off the passing-through-the-floor glitch when you drop down from the chain!

You can do that when entering the Forest Temple.

Why exactly do you need to go to the forest temple? You don't need the Bow if you have light arrows on B, right?

But doing it in Hyrule wouldn't be as much out of the way assuming Guano goes for the 20 rupees there...

You do if you want to have any arrows.

Both bow and magic are needed anyway, it was tested some time ago.

yeah, otherwise a certian Sheik will be standing right on top of the place where the master sword is supposed to go. I remember being bummed about that, since when I played when I was younger I decided I wanted to be a kid instead since I couldn't find the hookshot, and there was the androgenous one to deny my access.

I dont think there are any desynchs. Boss beaten at ~ 59 minutes and 30 seconds. sorry for no save states but it starts around 167000 http://download.yousendit.com/A33BECCC1381FE6F

You're right, there are no desyncs and don't worry about save states because I've been making my own as should anyone else who views your WIPs on Mupen64. This run is turning out to be more than I can ask for in terms of quite a few things: entertainment, intricacy, and nostalgia, likely more. Keep up what you're doing, it's turning out great.

Desynced for me at the start of Jabu, you backwalk and after hitting the switch and then get hit by one of the bubbles, I can verifiy this happend form both the savestate used and from the very start, otherwise nice stuff paticularly the hover of Zora with just four bombs. BTW, did you try the super back flip when you crossed the platform.

Try Rice's Graphic Plugin, that's the one I used and I didn't get any desyncs.

Bah, same problem as before. The rom doesn't emulate properly with the movie's video plugin. When I use a different one the run desynchs immediately. I'll see if my Mupen is up to date.

Wow, the solution is really that simple? Now I can watch wips! Thank you!!! Edit: I was able to watch most of the movie, but I still got the desync at Jabu Jabu's.

This is going to sound crazy but try loading up some hi res textures, that might help (I'm not sure if the textures themselves may help stop desyncs or if the time that it takes to load them up will but this is just some sort of crack pot theory of mine). If that doesn't help then I can give you all of my configurations for Rice's Graphic Plugin which are: General Options Direct X OpenGL Texture Filters Game Default Options Current Game Options (They're in link form to spare our dial-up users somewhat) I don't gaurantee that selecting all these settings will make it sync up nor do I gaurantee that selecting only some of these settings will make it sync up but go ahead and try it because chances are it may work out for the best. (none of this previous information is relevant regarding syncing the movie, Rice's Graphic plugin should work with the default settings.) It synced up for me but that's most likely because I used a save state so I'll go back and view it from beginning to end (which will make this post pretty much obsolete if it desyncs at Jabu Jabu). Edit: Okay, it desyncs at Jabu Jabu when viewing the movie from start to finish but syncs up from save states (save states are bad), It's a damn shame.

It desynced in Jabu-Jabu for me too, but I made a savestate before (somewhere on the way to Zora's domain) and after loading it, it worked. I used the same plugins as used for the movie.

It still desynchs even with the Rice plugin. Same place, too. I'm going to try using a different input plugin. Edit: Now it desynchs after getting the sword. Oh well.

I dont get it? It works fine for me. So poop on ya'll. Where are some places to get bombchus? Only places I can think of is bombchu bowling and Bottom of the Well. However. I can get to Bottom of the Well as an Adult while I am in KV. Or do I not need bombchus?
